MG RUBBER (DYNAPOLY MG-30) is modified high performance specialty rubber manufactured by graft polymerization of poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA) into latex,MG-30 has 30% PMMA and 70% rubber. The plastic-like nature of the PMMA lends itself to preparation of high hardness/modulus, good physical properties, impact resistant and easy-processing rubber compounds. Main applications of DYNAPOLY MG-30 are mainly in solution adhesives particularly pressure-sensitive adhesives for bonding dissimilar materials including PVC electricity insulation, paper craft, masking, protective and surgical tapes. MG-30 can be blended with natural rubbers for intermediate durometers; it is stiff and non-tacky at room temperature. The thermoplastic nature allows good processing (calendaring and extruding) high durometer stocks.
